台灣事務。美國國會議員如果訪台，將嚴重違反一個中國原則和中美三個聯合公報，干涉中
國內政，向「台獨」分裂勢力發出嚴重錯誤訊號。
中方要求美方恪守一個中國原則和中美三個聯合公報，不得安排國會議員訪台，停止美台官
方往來，停止製造台海局勢緊張因素，以實際行動履行美方所作僅與「台灣地區」保持文化
