Victor Oladipo says he turned down $80,000,000 because doctors said he was
healthy, then his surgery got botched
“They offered 3 years, $80 million. So it was less than what I had, but
pretty much about the same. And my doctors and everybody was telling me I was
getting healthier even though, unfortunately, my surgery wasn’t done
correctly”
“So I made that decision thinking I was getting better. And then my first
three, four games in Indie that year, I averaged 20. So that’s why they
traded me because I averaged that, and, inside scoop, they knew my knee was
up too. So that’s pretty much what happened”
