On the latest episode of Brian Windhorst and The Hoop Collective, ESPN NBA
insider Tim MacMahon gave further details into turmoil within the Dallas
Mavericks.
This time, MacMahon said that the relationship between owner Patrick Dumont a
nd GM Nico Harrison has crumbled. MacMahon said that trust between Dumont and
Harrison has "completely disintegrated". MacMahon added
that "it's a matter of when, not if, Nico Harrison will be fired".
Dumont has apparently taken control of issues, like Anthony Davis' recovery f
rom a calf strain. Davis wanted to return over the weekend, but there is an internal
disagreement over when the Mavs big man should play again.
