Before Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard dominated NBA free agency, there was
LeBron James in 2010. After refusing to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers,
James hit the open market, and nearly every team in the league tried to
recruit him.

One of those teams was the Chicago Bulls, who were led by star point guard
Derrick Rose.

During an appearance on Adrian Wojnarowski's "The Woj Pod," longtime NBA
trainer Rob McClanaghan revealed that the Bulls wanted Rose to join them in
their efforts to recruit James. As it turns out, Rose refused.
在WOJ大神的廣播媒體中，長期擔任NBA訓練員的Rob McClanaghan揭露當年公牛希望皇叔
幫忙去招攬姆斯。但皇叔拒絕了。
McClanaghan stressed that it wasn't a matter of Rose refusing to play with
LeBron. Rather, Rose felt that there was no need to hop on the team's jet and
plead with James to join him. In his mind, if James wanted to join the Bulls,
he would have, without Rose's insistence.
他表示並非皇叔不想跟姆斯一起打球，而是單純覺得不需要跳上球隊專機飛去請求姆斯加
入而已。皇叔的想法是如果姆斯要加入自己就會加入，不需要自己的幫忙。
Chicago's pitch without Rose failed, as James chose to team up with Dwyane
Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. Ironically, the Heat advanced to the
NBA Finals that year by defeating the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals.
當時公牛隊沒招攬到姆斯，姆斯也跑去邁阿密跟Wade和Bosh組隊了。諷刺的是，當年熱火
就是在東決淘汰公牛晉級總決的。
