Angels Sign Daniel Murphy To Minor League Deal
Infielder Daniel Murphy, who had been playing for the Long Island Ducks of the i
ndependent Atlantic League, has had his contract purchased by the Angels. The ne
ws was relayed on Twitter by Michael Pfaff, the president and general manager of
the Ducks. Murphy will presumably report to the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees in the
coming days, though that hasn’t been officially reported by the team.
