Via Marc Carig, he Yankees have signed Derek Lowe. Joel Sherman adds that he
has agreed to pitch out of the bullpen. I had a feeling this was coming after
we learned about CC Sabathia‘s elbow-induced DL trip. Because the Indians
flat out released him earlier this week, the Yankees will only owe the
veteran right-hander the pro-rated portion of the league minimum. More to
come, but my quick take is that it’s a perfectly fine move. Lowe is
practically free and the club needs a little extra pitching depth. More to
come … eventually.

該年SP大物 洋基簽了AJB Lowe被勇士簽走 都是兩張悲劇
