今天，我們記念《台灣關係法》立法47週年。《台灣關係法》不僅肯定了台灣在戰略上的重
要性，也強化了美國長年以來致力確保印太地區和平、穩定、繁榮的承諾。
過去這47年來，《台灣關係法》與三個聯合公報及六項保證，對於維護台海的和平與穩定提
供了實質幫助。此一政策架構的成功，使台灣在民主、經濟與社會制度方面均取得令人讚嘆
的進展，成為舉世稱羨的典範。
展望未來，我們的決心依舊堅定：美國將持續深化與台灣的合作，推動在安全、經濟、科技
及人民交流等領域的連結，以實現《台灣關係法》的目標，並為區域的和平、安全與繁榮獻
上一份心力。
Today, we mark the 47th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, which affirmed
the strategic importance of Taiwan and strengthened the United States’ longstan
ding commitment to ensuring peace, stability, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific
region.
The TRA, together with the Three Joint Communiques and Six Assurances, has helpe
d preserve peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait for the past 47 years. The
success of this policy structure has enabled the stunning evolution of Taiwan’s
democracy, economy, and social system into the envy of the world.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to deepening our cooperation and a
dvancing our security, economic, technological, and people-to-people ties with T
aiwan to uphold the objectives of the TRA and contribute to regional peace, secu
rity, and prosperity.
