美國總統公告
為表對方濟各教宗的追思與敬意，茲依據美國憲法及相關法律賦予我身為美國總統之職權，
我就此下令：即日起至教宗安葬當日之日落止，美國國旗應於白宮、所有公共建築及場地、
所有軍事站點與海軍基地，以及所有位於哥倫比亞特區、全美各地及海外領土與屬地之美國
聯邦政府所屬的海軍艦艇上降半旗誌哀。我同時指示：所有美國大使館、公使館、領事辦公
室及其他海外設施，包括所有軍事設施、海軍艦艇及基地，亦應於同一期間降半旗誌哀。
本人謹於主曆二○二五年，即美國獨立二百四十九年之四月二十一日，簽署本公告為證。

A Proclamation
As a mark of respect for the memory of His Holiness Pope Francis, by the authori
ty vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the la
ws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United S
tates shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildi
ngs and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vess
els of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the Uni
ted States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, on the day of inter
ment. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same len
gth of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and oth
er facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and st
ations.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-first day of April,
in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-five, and of the Independence of the
United States of America the two hundred and forty-ninth.
