在川習會可能於近期舉行的時刻，我希望中華民國政府必須立刻向美國及大陸嚴正聲明
一， 台灣問題與利益，不能成為中美兩國利益交換的籌碼。
二， 呼籲中共領導人能重申及維持2008年以來，兩岸在『九二共識、一中各表』上的立
場。
2008年3月26日，大陸國家主席胡錦濤與美國總統小布希進行了電話會談，當時新華社發
布的英文新聞稿稱，胡錦濤主席於會談中表示：
He said it is China's consistent stand that the Chinese Mainland and Taiwan
should restore consultation and talks on the basis of "the 1992 consensus,"
which sees both sides recognize there is only one China, but agree to differ
on its definition.
其中「both sides recognize there is only one China, but agree to differ on
its definition」，代表著大陸方面已承認了「九二共識」的含義是「一個中國、各自表
述」。
在未來的川習會，我希望習近平主席也能再次重申並繼續這個兩岸都能接受的對話基礎。
