【林智傑／綜合報導】大聯盟明星賽星光熠熠，不過本季戰績不盡理想的奧克蘭運動家卻
只有一人入選，那就是右投手布萊克本（Paul Blackburn），然而，他在抵達洛杉磯的時
候就提到，原本他得自行前往球場，但休士頓太空人球團得知這件事後，便力邀他來搭乘
球隊包機，看起來，同分區的競爭並未影響球員之間的關係。
布萊克本今年賽季頂上運動家先發輪值，18場出賽繳出6勝5敗、防禦率3.62的成績單，投
出生涯年也讓他首次入選全明星賽，不過他也是運動家陣中唯一一位入選的球員，原本在
與太空人的客場系列賽結束後，他必須自行搭乘飛機，從休士頓前往洛杉磯去報到，但太
空人球團得知消息後，沒有讓他踏上原本那個班機，而是力邀他來搭乘球隊的包機。
布萊克本昨天受訪時說道：「他們讓我感到非常溫馨和舒適…這很有趣，有人問我是否想
和他們一起飛去洛杉磯，我說好啊，如果美聯明星隊總教練貝克（Dusty Baker）也OK的
話，我當然想。」他表示，太空人球團的暖舉，就像是兄弟情誼一樣，每個人都互相尊重
，也非常謝謝他們的邀請。
